Rescue Pet of the Week: How to Be Featured

If you haven’t noticed, there is a large photo of a lovely pet plastered on the cover of our website. At the top, it reads: Rescue Pet of the Week.

So what is that… and how can your pet be featured?

For context, I adore Theodore with my entire heart — I think he is, without question, the cutest, kindest cat to ever exist. At any point in my day where I get the chance to bring him up, I’m already five sentences deep before anyone can stop me.

“Did I show you this photo of Theodore napping? Here’s another.”
“Did I tell you how he tried to climb into the trash again this week?”
“Isn’t Ted literally the cutest cat ever?”

If you’ve met me, you’ve heard at least one of these.

And I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. We all have the cutest pet in the world — the one with quirks, chaos, big feelings, tender eyes, or tiny snores. The one who fits into our life in a way no one else ever could. It feels good to have a place where that love, pride, and story can be celebrated.

Here at Positively_Theodore, we value rescues deeply. Theodore was found living on the streets; every pet I’ve ever owned has been a rescue. There are so many animals who need a home, a warm blanket, a safe corner, and a family to call theirs. That’s why I created the Pet of the Week Spotlight — a cozy corner dedicated entirely to your sweet companion.
